Ode to Kat (as adapted from an e-mail written by Kat)

Funny you should ask how my day is going
Two children screaming right now (and they don't appear to be slowing)

Liska is screaming at me from her room
MOMMY! she cries (as if there is imminent doom)

Hagen is screaming because I've set him down
I scramble to make a smile out of his frown

Liska will not nap as she fears being alone
I could probably go get her if I had a clone

My work is never done here, I need a rest!
I'm sorry, I just had to get that off of my chest

Now that I'm done with this sad little ballad
COME HOME SOON! And don't forget to pick up the salad!

As adapted from the last e-mail I got from Kat....I'll be home soon baby!!

Comments:
So glad to be home again reading your blog,
And glad it's no longer hot as a dog.
After reading about the plight of your wife,
And having had similar experience in life,
I can only suggest getting off of your fanny,
And getting yourselves a really good nanny!

Love,
Denise
