Ode to Kat (as adapted from an e-mail written by Kat)
Funny you should ask how my day is going
Two children screaming right now (and they don't appear to be slowing)
Liska is screaming at me from her room
MOMMY! she cries (as if there is imminent doom)
Hagen is screaming because I've set him down
I scramble to make a smile out of his frown
Liska will not nap as she fears being alone
I could probably go get her if I had a clone
My work is never done here, I need a rest!
I'm sorry, I just had to get that off of my chest
Now that I'm done with this sad little ballad
COME HOME SOON! And don't forget to pick up the salad!

okay..your sister is finally back to the blog too...we just got home from all of our travels and i am looking forward to sleeping in my own bed! i love kat's poem and am going to try and send chris a poem email one day to see if it inspires action:). i will again become a faithful blog reader. love the pics of you, kat, and the kids! also, i found you another sponsor to donate to your race. a friend of mine asked that i send her your website info for a donation. keep up the good work of getting into shape! love and miss you all! kirsten

Hello Quinn! So glad to see your comments on my blog. I hope you enjoy reading about your cousins and your Aunt and Uncle out here in California. I hope you enjoyed your trip and your summer is giving you a chance to work on your jump shot..I look forward to playing basketball with you again when I come back to Houston.
