All Play and No Work Makes Jak a Dull Boy
Well, not actually ALL Play and not really NO work, but damn near. To say I am going stir crazy would be an understatement. Don't get me wrong, I love being home with my lovely wife and beautiful children, but a man needs to work! Get out there and bring home the bacon! mmmmmm....bacon. I do believe that my time on the bench is coming to an end! I received the word last week that I would be assigned to a project that is going to be starting up around Halloween time. Another east coast jaunt...but, better than nothing. :-)
Mr. Hagen also had an exciting week as we shaved off his hair in order to get rid of the fast-forming Mullet...the hair cut started at Jak's Salon (it seemed easy enough), but ended in the professional care of Star Cuts. :-)
We have also been staying busy on the hosting front...Kat had about 40 women over last night for an AXO mixer and we are hosting the Texas vs. Baylor game watching party this Saturday for the Tulsa Texas Exes. Should be tres exciting!!
It has been a while since I have posted and I'm not sure why...I have tons of great pics, tons of time on my hands and tons of great ideas for posts. Let's see...I guess that would leave "being lazy" as the only viable excuse. But, that is a good one and an excuse that has come in handy in the past. :-)
Liska had her first dance recital this past week. Of course, video is way too long to post here, but here are a couple pics to get a feel for how damn cute she was....
