Another One Bites the Dust

Man, what a wild month it has been in the world of the Knight family. Since my last post, I have started a new project (in Memphis), we have endured a huge ice storm which knocked out our power for two days and two nights...it has snowed twice, we had a visit from Ma Knight and we celebrated the birth of our lord and saviour Quinn McLean. Oh wait, wrong December birthday. My bad. And, believe it or not, we are about to see another year pass. Pretty crazy.

BUT, before the year ends, we will be hosting a watch party at our home on New Year's Eve so we can watch our National Television debut on HGTV. I know everyone already knows about it, but in case you have been living under a rock somewhere, Kat and I will be featured on the New Year's Eve episode of HGTV's Designed to Sell. The title of the documentary is "Attractive Tract Home" and it follows the lives of two young Californians as they desperately try to improve their position in an ever-tightening housing market. It is full of drama and intrigue and not a little bit of comedy. Ebert and Roper give it two thumbs up "WAY UP". Better Homes and Gardens says "If we didn't know better, we would have said that these people were paid actors...or at least that they were getting some money for furniture and stuff." And the Blakely Place Gazette trumpeted the show as "a piece for all times...a piece of @&($ that is". Glowing reviews all. We have not personally seen a preview of the show as the producers want at least a guaranteed audience of 2 for the TV debut. And they will get it! I don't normally do this, abuse my power over my blog aids in such an obvious manner, but I COMMAND you to watch this show! There...I said it. So sayeth the shepherd (Porkys II for those that hear me say that a lot and are not sure what I am quoting).

Anywho, Christmas at our house was an amazing time. My mom came up from her Ivory Tower in Austin to grace us with her presence in lowly Tulsa. Kat's Brother did the same from "The City" (that is Oklahoma City to those of you who thought it might be a city that was more befitting of such a moniker). And Kat's parents came over on Christmas Day. It was a great time. Here are some pictures (moving and still) to prove it.

Hagen adding some "cheese!" to the proceedings

Liska's inaugural jaunt on her new 'big girl' bike. She is a natural!!

And a little improv ballerina work by Liska just because I think it is achingly sweet

I hope every one had a wonderful holiday and I hope your New Year is filled with much success, love and happiness. Thanks for listening in 2007.

Much love to all!
