Where are the Knights???
So, I know that I joke alot that my sister is the only one reading the blog...well, my mom is...the Browns are...my wife is...and I am quite certain millions of others are, but since they are not posting, I just wouldn't know. I mean, certainly at least my Michigan relatives are reading it...they just are not posting comments. sheesh. How about we get the Knight family representin' on the blog? Dad? Carrie? Callie and Carissa? Deann? That is right...my cousin Deann and I have reconnected thanks to this wonderful thing called the internet (thank you Al Gore!). We probably had not had a conversation in years and now I know that she is going back to school and started a couple Mondays ago...maybe she can update us on how she is liking it. She also sent me pics of Chris Jr...what a cutie! I will try to post some of those pics here too. Share the space with the fam!
On the homefront, Kat and I are freakin' exhausted! Even though we think Hagen is making progress (he slept for 5 hours last night), it is still incredibly tiring. Work has been trying and then to get little sleep is just not cool. But, he is healthy and Liska has been her sweet, perfect self (notice her smile in the pics with Hagen).
I am also on yet another weight-loss kick. I have a friend in Houston that refers to me as Oprah because of how much weight I have gained and lost over the years. But, I weighed myself on February 28 and I was up to 250. One-third of the way to piano case coffin-ville. So, I joined 24 Hour Fitness that day and started to work out the next day. I am now playing basketball on Tuesday and Thursday mornings (as well as in a league on Tuesday nights and Sunday afternoons) and doing spinning class on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. I weighed myself last Thursday and I am down to 231. I will keep my blog fans up to date on my weekly weigh-ins. Next one is tomorrow.
I hope everyone is doing well and takes me seriously when I say that you better start commenting more on my blog!! This isn't a one-way street people. Let's work together to make this blog the best darn blog it can be!!

Uma, Oprah...Oprah, Uma. That's harsh!
Hagen looks THRILLED to be posing for pictures! Is he a future Sean Penn?

Yes, our little Screamapillar is his normal, bubbly self when the camera is on. You will notice that he is freaking out in every pic except the one where he is chillin' with his Pops. I will try to stick with the sleeping pics in the future so peeps can continue to be fooled into thinking that he is a little angel. :-)
Hagen is chillin' in the pic because he was deciding on whether or not to spew his nice, full stomach on his Pops. Go figure.
Can you believe it? Hagen is THREE weeks old today. Scary how time flies. His big sister is amazing; she retrieves his pacifier everytime he hears him cry. So sweet!

I don't think Liska has ever sought peace and quiet. She gets louder and more outgoing everyday. She is truly the sweetest big sister we could have expected. She has even taken to kissing my 'owies' and fetching band aids for me. she is very maternal. I'm certain her ambivalence will return at some point, but we are enjoying this while it lasts.
I'm not sure the Knight family would fall into the non-compliant category. Yes, we tend to do whatever the hell we want to, but as the (until recently) last in the Knight line, I have been spoiled my entire life and tend to get my way :-) So, I was banking on that. haha I guess the party is over..(if that doesn't elicit a response, nothing will!!)

I'm going to Joannes for Fathers day. Carrie and Craig and the girls will be there. I will set them down and make each one contribute to a response. So look forward to a nice long blog on the 17th.
Jason, It's DeAnn, thanks for including me in your blog, I haven't been able to read it until today. School is going great I'm averaging an A, so I guess my 19 year absence from school hasn't killed all my brain cells. The kids are adorable, and I'm glad to hear Hagens health is good. I will try and keep you with up to date pics of Chris Jr., and the rest of us crazy relatives here in Michigan. :) your cuz, DeAnn
just remember, the brains cells that die are the weakest ones leaving only the strong to survive. The ones that are left are super brain cells that are ten times as effective. :-)
congrats on the grades though...I cannot imagine having to do homework and take tests on a regular basis...school was never my favorite endeavor though.
